Where to Find the Best Pizza in Dallas

Dallas is a bustling city in northern Texas, with plenty to do and see for locals and visitors alike. Beloved for the Dallas Cowboys football team, as is also the cultural hub of the southwest region.

Cane Rosso

Cane Rosso is near the Penthouse event venue, in a black and red brick storefront.

They have a spacious interior with outdoor seating also available. The lounge area is a nice touch where friends and family can gather to socialize over excellent drinks.

The great vibes in this cozy atmosphere make for a wonderful experience. This pizzeria specializes in Neapolitan pies from wood-fire ovens. They also serve Italian sandwiches, pasta, and desserts.

Cane Rosso is one of the best pizzerias in Dallas, known for handmade dough, fresh mozzarella produced in-house each day, and their tangy sauce. They also offer brunch and a children’s menu.

As you’d get in Italy, the signature thin and crispy crust is magnificent and stands up against hearty ingredients with ease. It cooks for just under 90 seconds for a slightly charred and delicious foundation to their delectable pies.

My favorite pie was the Johnny Utah; it had smokey provolone, meatballs, roasted peppers, smoked mozzarella, and onions. Truly incredible!

This pizza shop is also known for other menu items like the cheesy lasagna and the garlic knots that are always fresh, hot, and buttered to the heavens.

Olivella’s, located in Hillcrest Village shopping mall, is a casual Italian pizzeria that serves Neapolitan pizzas and other Italian delicacies in their wood-burning oven.

This is a cute, easy-going restaurant with friendly staff and a wonderfully laid-back atmosphere. Delivery and private party catering are also available.

Olivella’s is one of my favorites on the list because they have a crispy crust that houses a fantastic sauce. It’s sweet and slightly acidic, which pairs well with their delicious mozzarella, meats, and other veggie toppings.

They also have specials, such as the $10 Sangria promo on Tuesdays.

There are so many excellent pizzas to choose from that it’s hard to pick the most popular, but reviews rave about the Black Truffle pie, with speck, truffle oil, black pepper, and house-made mozzarella. They also serve a killer Chicken Pesto Linguine!

You can dine in or choose to order delivery instead. GAPC also lets you build your own calzones and pizza. They’re open late, for your convenience.

You can also order the pizza here by the slice, and it is a massive slice for just five bucks. They have a great crust that is thin and crispy, lightly charred, and slightly chewy in the middle.

I recommend the Buffalo Chicken pizza because the sauce is delicious, and the Chicken Spinach Alfredo pizza is incredibly unique and delightful.

What immediately stands out about this pizzeria is the airiness of the thin crust, made with a particular leaven and cooked perfectly. It is also healthier without added air and grease.

When they bring it to the table, the bubbling mozzarella cheese is quite the sight to behold. The classic cheese (Margherita) pizza and the Meat Lover’s pizza are packed with flavor and pair exceptionally well with a tall beer!

Serious pizza is in the South Dallas neighborhood near the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden.

It’s a counter-serve brick-walled pizzeria that brings customers thin-crust pizza (New York-style). It’s seriously huge, seriously delicious, and you’ll have a seriously good time eating it with friends and loved ones!

This place might be my favorite on the list purely because they serve 30-inch pies that you can smell when you turn the corner onto their street. And one slice is about the same size as a personal pan pizza at most other places.

They’re open late, and the service there is stellar. One of the most popular pies is the classic Pepperoni, but the BBQ Chicken pizza is yummy, and if you want to try something different, go for the Pesto pizza.
