Just steps away from St. John’s Park, you’ll find II Mattone. This restaurant is easily one of my favorite pizza places in Tribeca, serving up excellent calzones and pizzas by the slice or entire pie.
You really can’t get more authentic than II Mattone. Even their more humble pies are outstanding. I personally like their cheese and margarita pizzas.
If you’re extra hungry, get a side of sausage rolls with your pizza. The dough is springy, fresh, flavorful, and compliments the sausage perfectly.
Next time you find yourself in Tribeca, II Mattone is a must-visit pizza parlor.

Saluggi’s is a few blocks away from the Sheraton Tribeca and is a fun local haunt with friendly service and outstanding food.
Although you can certainly get excellent pizza at Saluggi’s, I like their pasta. The penne with vodka sauce is delicious and tastes almost like homemade. Saluggi’s is a great place to go on a chilly evening or after a long day of sightseeing.
If you like meatballs, this is the spot for you. Their meatballs are hearty, perfectly spiced, and go well with one of Saluggi’s signature pies or pasta.
You won’t regret giving this iconic Tribeca pizza parlor a try.
Little Italy Pizza

With a name like Little Italy Pizza, you know this restaurant has to be good, and it certainly doesn’t disappoint. A few blocks away from New York City Hall, Little Italy Pizza is an excellent place to get slices or whole pies.
There’s also a vast selection of different classic and signature pizzas, including chicken parmesan, lasagna, and bruschetta.
The portions at Little Italy Pizza are no joke either. One slice is more than enough to fill up most people, and you can easily share a pie with your whole family.
You certainly get what you pay for and will leave satisfied.

Next to DeLury Square, you will find Keste Pizza & Vino, an iconic New York pizza parlor and the place to get some of the best pizza in Tribeca.
Although the pizza is definitely the star of the show, Keste Pizza & Vino serves up some great traditional meatballs too. Their meatballs are beefy and full of lots of spices. Their burrata is exceptional also.
As far as pizzas go, I love the mozzarella and prosciutto pie. It’s piled high with creamy cheese and plenty of salty prosciutto for a flavor combination that you just can’t beat.
If you’re feeling a little bit more adventurous, check out their pistachio and salsiccia pie with pistachio pesto and two different types of cheeses.

Hungry diners can find Rubirosa just two blocks from the Basilica of St. Patricks on Mulberry Street. This famous Tribeca icon has a huge spread of different pizzas, plus appetizers, antipasto, and flavorful pasta dishes.
I love the manicotti antipasto and butternut squash tortellini personally, but the supremo pizza is the best reason to visit Rubirosa.
Loaded with pepperoni, sausage, and plenty of cheese, the Rubirosa is an exemplary pie that’s big enough to feed just about everyone in your entire family. You certainly won’t leave unsatisfied.

Joe’s Pizza is just a few minutes away from Millennium Park and is a local treasure that not too many tourists know about. Their pizzas have the traditional New York thin crust, with a generous serving of sauce and lots of cheese.
If you like your pizza to be as authentic as possible and want to dine in a very local establishment, get to Joe’s Pizza.
When it comes to Joe’s Pizza, I tend to be a purist. I really like their cheese pie and their simple pepperoni slice. Sometimes the simplest toppings are the best, especially when your pie hits all of the high notes with flavor.

John’s of Bleecker Street is about two blocks from the Christopher Street Station Metro and is famous for its amazing sauce. They get all of the spices down perfectly, striking the right balance between sweet, spicy, and zesty.
If the sauce is what gets people in the door at John’s of Bleecker Street, the crust is what keeps them coming back. It’s crispy, doughy, and gorgeous.
Their pepperoni pizza is excellent, with a generous serving of meat on every slice. In addition, you will find a robust beer selection of local and regional brews if you dine in.

Steps away from the Chamber Street metro, hungry visitors will find Gran Morsi, one of Tribeca’s best pizzerias. Gran Morsi tends to be pretty popular, especially on the weekends, so make sure you get reservations if you’re going on a Friday or Saturday night.
One thing that Gran Morsi is known for is its inventive pies. I love their mushroom pizza, loaded with all sorts of different kinds of mushrooms and baked to perfection.
The chicken parmigiana pie is good too, and their pasta dishes are excellent. Try the tagliatelle pasta. It’s light, flavorful, and wonderfully prepared.

If you visit the New York City Fire Museum on your Tribeca travels, make sure that you check out Adoro Lei. It’s right across the street and a great place to swing in for a slice or entire pizza pie.
First, the service is exceptional. The staff at Adoro Lei is friendly, accommodating, and really knowledgeable about their menu.
Then, there’s the food itself. The plethora of different options range from pizzas to salads to pasta. I love their spin on a caesar salad. It’s full of parmesan cheese, freshly baked croutons, and flavorful dressing. Their meatball pizza is next-level delicious as well.
